Community Guidelines

Write like you are speaking to someone you might actually meet tomorrow — because you might. No harassment, threats, bullying, stalking, hate speech, discrimination, or incitement to violence or self-harm. Zero tolerance for content targeting people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.

Be yourself. No impersonation of real people or brands, no fake identities, no misrepresenting your age, no catfishing, no spam or scam bottles (crypto, pyramid schemes, phishing links), no advertising or commercial solicitation outside designated channels. One honest account per person.

Soul Map is for genuine connection, not adult content. No nudity, sexual descriptions, solicitation of sexual content, prostitution, or links to explicit material — even in bottles marked as dating. If you would not read it out loud in a café, it does not belong in a bottle.

Never include anyone's personal data in a bottle: full names, phone numbers, home or work addresses, ID numbers, private photos of others. Do not drop bottles on private property, schools, hospitals, or places where a message could endanger or distress someone. And never use the Service to track, follow, or surveil any person.

Every bottle and profile has Report and Block. Use them the moment something feels wrong — you do not need proof, and you never owe anyone a warning. Reports are anonymous; the reported person is never told who reported them. Blocking is silent and permanent on their side.

Reports are reviewed by humans supported by AI-assisted classification, under the EU Digital Services Act notice-and-action principles. Depending on severity, we may: remove content, issue a warning, restrict features (e.g. disable dropping), suspend an account temporarily, or permanently ban — and where required, preserve evidence for authorities. Illegal content (threats, CSAM references, trafficking) is escalated to law enforcement.

We moderate with empathy and proportion: first violations usually earn a warning and content removal; repeat or severe violations lead to feature restrictions or permanent bans. If we act against you, we will tell you what happened and why, and you can appeal within 30 days to appeals@soul-map.xyz. We will reverse mistakes — no hard feelings.

Leave the bottle you wish you had found. A kind sentence at the right corner of the city can change someone's whole day — that is the entire product. Everything else in this document just protects that idea.
